Twin Dolphin Golf Club

C&R was charged with driving awareness surrounding the launch of the Fred Couples Signature Golf Course at Twin Dolphin Los Cabos. The goal was to build a 6-month strategy that would create momentum with top target golf media. In addition to a thoughtfully planned and executed press trip for an exclusive group of A-list journalists, C&R also developed a series of golf-focused story angles to build buzz surrounding the course, it’s design and the overall golf experience at Twin Dolphin Los Cabos.

As a result of our timely press trip and targeted media outreach, C&R secured coverage for the course in outlets including GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest, Golfweek, California Golf Magazine, Colorado Avid Golfer, Golf Central Magazine, LINKS Magazine, Private Clubs, Golf Tips, Forbes.com and more.

In addition to the incredible press recognition, C&R worked in partnership with course architect, Todd Eckenrode, to submit Twin Dolphin Golf Club for GOLF Inc.’s Development of the Year awards. We were thrilled that the course earned the #2 spot within the coveted rankings.

Golf: Course Openings/Rankings Panels

C&R has been charged with introducing some of the top private courses in the country from acclaimed designers such as Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Tom Weiskopf and Gary Player. We have leveraged our 15 years of experience with the golf media to personally successfully court and secure visits from lead panelists at Golf Digest, GOLF, Golfweek, LINKS, etc.

Most recently, C&R successfully introduced the Gary Player designed course—The Cliffs at Mountain Park in Greenville, SC. During a one-year period, we secured decision makers from Golf Digest, GOLF, Golfweek and other top golf media. The course was named Best New Private in GOLF, a top new private in Golf Digest, Best of the Best in Robb Report and a feature story and recognition as one of America’s Top 100 Modern courses in Golfweek.

Costa Palmas Golf Club

C&R has been the agency of record for Costa Palmas for 4+ years and in 2019, a major masterplan milestone was the opening of Costa Palmas Golf Club, where we were tasked to debut the course and garner A-list golf media and awards coverage. A major priority was to draw a spotlight to the design of the course helmed by Robert Trent Jones II,  as well as the unmatched on- and off-course amenities available to both residents and resort guests. 

Within just one year after the debut of Costa Palmas Golf Club in November 2019, C&R garnered feature coverage for the course in well-regarded golf publications such as GOLF Magazine, LINKS, Golf Digest, Golf Course Architecture, FORE, AZ Golf Insider, Golf Advisor, Avid Golfer, among others. 

Most recently, C&R facilitated a golf retreat for top Golfweek raters on-site, securing Costa Palmas Golf Club a spot on the coveted 2020 Golfweek Ultimate Guide. 

In addition to securing features in top industry publications, C&R also placed Costa Palmas Golf Club within top travel and lifestyle publications such as The New York Times, Elite Traveler, Angeleno, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Confidential, Condé Nast Traveler, Robb Report among others.
